A recent update in the Galaxy Wearable App reveals the new Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit and the new Galaxy Buds.
The New Galaxy Watch Active
The leak shows the Galaxy Watch Active to be a 40mm wearable. This makes it the smallest smartwatch after the Gear Sport which is a 42mm.
Unlike the other smartwatches that’s in Samsung’s line-up, the Galaxy Watch Active doesn’t seem to have a rotating bezel. The removal of the bezel makes the display stretch to the edges of the body. This makes the Galaxy Watch Active look very pleasing and minimalist, just like a circular version of the Apple Watch.
The New Galaxy Fit
The new Galaxy Fit seems to be a simple fitness tracker. Possibly aimed at the consumers that prioritises fitness over other features that the Galaxy Watch Active may offer.
Some rumours suggest that the release of the Galaxy Fit is to tackle the competition that the alternatives such as the Fitbit may offer.
The New Galaxy Buds
The leak also shows the new Galaxy Buds. This may be a newer version of the older predecessor, the Gear IconX.
This seems to be earbuds that are aimed for the fitness market of consumers. Rumours state that the new Galaxy Buds will support Bluetooth 5.0, will have 8GB of internal storage and will possess the PowerShare feature, shown on the upcoming Galaxy S10 phone.
We don’t know much about these new devices yet, and these leaks only provides the visual illustrations of what’s to come.
Only time will tell, as more leaks may be published before the upcoming Samsung Unpacked 2019 Event happening on the 20th February 2019 at 7pm GMT.
